About Us

Although Toothbrush Apartments is a relatively new business (born in June 2015), we've been providing short term accommodation in Ipswich since 2008, as we also run Lattice Lodge Guest House.

We're a small team, dedicated to making sure that your accommodation exceeds expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness, and also that you're able to make the most of your time in Ipswich.

So, what do we offer? Put simply, fully furnished apartments with all utilities and amenities provided for you - so that's heat, light, water, TV, wifi, local housing tax (we pay business rates, so you don't have council tax), a fully equipped kitchen including laundry facilities, as well as all bedding and towels. We then come in once a week to change the bedding and towels and clean the apartment.

We love going out to the theatre and cinema etc. So we've put our money where our mouth is, and are supporting a couple (at this stage) of small local organisations that we feel contribute quietly but significantly to the cultural life of our home town.

Our first sponsorship was to be Comedy Series Sponsor at Red Rose Chain's Avenue Theatre. Jo at Red Rose Chain loves a bit of stand-up, and it was clear to us from her first couple of shows (Paul Foot and Henning Wehn) that she was bringing a new type of comedian to Ipswich - totally brilliant, but probably less well known and rather more risky in commercial terms than Michael McIntyre or John Bishop. So it was natural for us to offer to help. Keep up the good work Jo!

Our second sponsorship was as one of the supporters for the Friends of Christchurch Park 'Brass on the Grass' series. There are 4 of these each summer, on a Sunday afternoon. Take it from us that it's lovely to sit under a tree, in the shade, with friends and a cold beer, listening to a brass band. Quintessentially English!

We're a very small business, and as such don't have very deep pockets, but we're happy to help other small local organisations where we can. If you feel we can help you then get in touch.

They're not technically part of Team Toothbrush, but it would be remiss to not mention a few others that have provided services to us in the early stages of Toothbrush Apartments.

James Kindred from our booking system supplier Inn Style, and now of graphic design agency Fork, did our logo for us.

Emma Kindred designed and built this website for us.
