Ipswich has a variety of great places to eat and drink, here are a few of our favourites

We've included a variety of types of food, so scroll all the way through and hopefully you'll find something here to whet your appetite. Enjoy!

On The Huh (Food made with local ingredients)

Sustainable, seasonal and local foods in a friendly cafe/restaurant environment in the heart of Suffolk's county town

Located in the lovely Saints area of Ipswich, and directly below our Curzon House apartments, it's a regular (and popular) stop off for the Toothbrush team.

They serve a great choice of wine, Suffolk/local made beers, cider and gin as well as delicious food including stone baked pizzas, fish n chips, anti-pasti and bread/focaccia homemade daily.  The Sunday roast is something else too!

Check out their Facebook page for the latest seasonal offerings.

Hank's Pub & Food (Vegan)

Hanks Pub & Food is 100% Vegan, but there’s plenty to entice any non-vegans too!

The food is creative and top quality - it’s one of our regular venues and there's no compromise on the drinks either, with a great range of quality wines and beers.

So, we thoroughly recommend making a visit. You can call them on 01473 845099, or visit their website for more details.

Chutneyz (Indian)

This is by far our favourite Indian Bistro in Ipswich and it’s just off the waterfront and not far from the University of Suffolk. Authentic Indian cuisine with an occasional modern twist. They also offer takeaways.

Here's their website

Grazing Sheep (Bistro)

In the heart of the bustling Ipswich marina, The Grazing Sheep is the perfect stop off whilst meandering along the beautiful Regatta Quay.  Serving great coffee and quality food throughout the day, with outdoor as well as indoor seating.

Here’s their website

Hullabaloo (Vegan)

Vegan cafe and wholefoods - ethically and locally sourced. Absolutely delicious homemade food where the menu changes daily - and just across the road from our Curzon House apartments!

You can keep up with what they are offering on their Facebook page.

Ocean Fish Platter (Fish and Seafood)

If you are looking for something more traditionally British, using great quality ingredients, then do visit Ocean Fish Platter.  Another Team Toothbrush favourite we are only too happy to recommend, you won't be disappointed!
